The boulderfield is to the south of Kelowna, up in the Chute Lake Road and Crawford Estates area. This area was heavily damaged by the infamous Okanagan Mountain forest fire in August and September of 2003.

Note the collage of the boulderfield; these pictures were taken from the top of the ridge looking down into the boulderfield. The boulders seen in the central 5 pictures are anywhere from the size of a car to the size of a house. (Here is an example of the size of the "boulders" within the boulderfield.)

This picture shows the burned-out forest on the road to the boulderfield. The "snow" you see on the ground is actually a thick layer of ash that covers the forest floor.
