Recent traffic flows as a semi-hierarchical tree. Traffic data is not perfectly hierarchical, but from a high-level point of view can be successfully displayed this way. Some leaf nodes may not appear as expected due to discovering a flow mid-traffic, or due to assumptions made when Myra Canyon has to revert to the simpler port-based exams to identify traffic.
Live display of both incoming and outgoing network traffic. This information is updated once per second. See the animation.
Summary information on inside hosts. Nine columns of simple information on inside hosts with recent network activity.
Network traffic totals. Displays recent network traffic as simple totals for incoming and outgoing traffic.
Network traffic types. Displays recent network traffic broken into individual identified traffic types. Similar to the traffic flow tree, some flows may be classified differently depending on whether or not the traffic was discovered mid-flow, or if port-based exams were required.
Network traffic per host. Network traffic for each of the inside hosts.
All of the information gathered by Myra Canyon is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Normal SQL queries can be used to retrieve or mine this data. |
