We've had a summer filled with smoke and temperatures between 30°C and 44°C, so barely any outdoor activities. But last night's wind and rain cleared most of the smoke out of the valley, so we took advantage of it to go on a simple beach walk.

Jazz cannot come on hikes with me anymore since she has trouble walking -- 13 is old for a large breed! -- but we brought her along to the beach and she seemed to enjoy it.
