To celebrate July 4th for Kathie, two of the kids and I baked a cake and decorated it somewhat like a U.S. flag. I didn't manage to get the icing the right colour (now I know I'd have to add a lot more food colouring) and it has the wrong number of rows & stars, but as far as taste is concerned I think we did all right.
