My neighbour got his side of the fence painted over the last few weeks. I actually didn't know he was working on it until Labour Day Monday when he was nearly finished.

So he gave me the colour code, and I immediately went off to buy the same paint. This is the first time I get to try the paint gun that Kathie bought me earlier this year.

When I started, I thought, "no problem, I'll get this done in 1 day." Heh...didn't exactly work out that way. For the sections of the fence next to the house, of course I don't want to use the paint gun. So I've already spent the greater part of 2 weekends working on it, though it definitely is starting to look good. The last time this fence was painted, dinosaurs still roamed Earth, which you can see clearly in the 2nd picture.
