I started a vegetable garden last weekend. Straight sides measure 14.5 feet each. Placed it in the south-west facing corner of the back yard. Today I finished digging out the sod and filled it with dirt. The plan is to grow simple things like carrots, radish, lettuce, peas, etc. Nothing fancy, just enough to keep me and the kids busy over the summer.

The plant in the last picture is the rhubarb that automatically comes back by itself every year. I cannot claim credit -- previous owners were the ones who planted rhubarb at the side of the house.
