I finally received my new computer! Starting from the
bottom left and moving in a clockwise manner:
- (old) IBM PS/2 model 90 (?), 48MB, running OS/2 Warp v4.0 (file server)
- (old) 486DX2/80, 32MB, running Redhat Linux v6.2 (database server)
- (old) 5-port DLink 10Mbit hub
- (new) 3-COM ADSL modem [bottom, white]
- (new) Linksys 4-port 10/100Mbit home cable/dsl router [top, blue]
- (old) Canon BJC-4000
- (new) Belkin OmniCube 4-port KVM digital switch
- (new) 22" NEC flat screen
- (old) Pentium Pro 200MHz with 256MB, running OS/2 Warp 4.0 (development machine)
- (new) dual-Pentium III 800MHz with 576MB, running Redhat Linux v6.2 and Windows 2000 (future development)
On the table, I have 2 Wacom digitizer tablets. The first (off to the side,
on the left) is my old 6"x8" which I use on the old Pentium Pro OS/2 computer,
while the new tablet (beside the keyboard) is a 9"x12" Intuos hooked up to the
new dual-Pentium III.
Now if only I could find a place to store that monitor box...!
