This is the first time I try Lynn Headwaters Park; while I've been to Lynn Canyon many times, I didn't even know there was a second park further up the road.

The trip to Norvan Falls is in 2 sections: the first is a wide, flat trail that follows the river the entire way. The second part is where all of the elevation gain is made, and obviously isn't used by many people. This portion of the trail runs in a creekbed for quite some time, and the water itself must turn away many hikers. The entire length to the bridge over Norvan Creek is 15km return trip.

I brought my snow shoes (attached to my pack) but unfortunately did not get to use them. However, I've found another trail, Lynn Peak, that I will have to try soon.
