This was quite the trip! After having gone to Norvan Falls last weekend, I just had to try Lynn Peak. The weather was pretty good, if somewhat overcast. The total elevation gain is 700 meters, starting at 300m at the parking lot and ending somewhere around 980m. Return trip is in the range of 8km, assuming that you take the south approach and not the Lynn Loop. Note that the last 45 minutes of this hike (for which I did not take any pictures) is quite difficult due to a very poor trail which has been overrun by downed trees. May be different in the summer since the 5 or 6 feet of snow was putting me right in the tree branches!
