While walking home from work on the afternoon of February 10, I noticed a double rainbow over Cole Harbour. This image was taken facing North on Hastings Avenue, about 1 block West of Thurlow.

Though today is Tuesday, I decided to take the day off work and spend some time rollerblading and reading at the beach. This image is the first time I tried the "timer" on my camera, having set it up on some driftwood on the beach.

This is Science World -- Vancouver's science center -- on the shores of False Creek. The rollerblade trail more or less starts at Science World, follows False Creek, around English Bay, around Stanley Park, and then partially follows the shores of Cole Harbour. Or rather, that is trail I usually take; the actual trail is much longer than that.

The SkyTrain is Vancouver's "subway" system. It was built for the 1986 Expo. In the distance, those are the mountains of North Vancouver.
